Dr. Oscar Morales is the owner and founder of The Place Called OM. He is an Arizona native who grew up in Douglas’s small town by the Southeastern Arizona Border and Mexico. He has resided in the Phoenix area since 2013 after he was conferred his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Arizona University. In 2014, he began his Medical School journey at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. After attending his third year of naturopathic medical school, he transferred to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture to pursue TCM. He conferred his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in the fall of 2020. During his medical school curriculum, he intensely studied a variety of energetic, physical, metaphysical, and mind-body modalities to assist a person towards overall health and balance.

Dr. Oscar Morales joined the United States Army in 1997 after graduating from Douglas High School. In 2003, he served fourteen months in Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Due to a lack of medics, he volunteered to become a Combat Lifesaver. During his deployment, he experienced many circumstances requiring his medical training and found his true calling in the medical field. Now, he completed over twenty years of military service in the United States Army Reserves with United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command and is the acting Battalion Command Sergeant Major of 2-363rd Training Support Battalion (Black Scorpions).

Dr. Oscar Morales is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and a Certified Mind-Body professional. He firmly believes that the mind, body, and spirit must be aligned to have quality health. As an alternative healer, he focuses on reactivating the vital force from within, balancing the mind and body to facilitate movement and healing, and unencumbered the spirit towards better life management. You will experience the difference not only on a physical but also on a mental-emotional and spiritual level.
