Dr. Solos holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University (UK) and a Medical Degree from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (China). He earned his Master’s of Medicine in Traditional Diagnosis at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and a Medical Ph.D in Integrative Medicine at the Jinan University in Guangzhou.
He is the author of several seminal works in Traditional Medicine, including the “Developing Internal Energy for Effective Acupuncture Practice”, “Gold Mirrors and Tongue Reflections” and the “Ao Shi Shang Han Jin Jing Lu – Shi Sheng Du Shu Bi Ji” (in Chinese). He is often invited to co-author or to contribute in popular Chinese medicine textbooks, and participate in academic committees and professional forums. Dr. Solos is an established academician with numerous peer-reviewed research articles, and a popular lecturer. He is currently serving as a Council member for the Educational Instruction Committee and the Specialty Committee of Translation for the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.
His areas of expertise include Jing Fang, tongue diagnosis in epidemics, lineage style “tendon-correcting manipulations”, and martial lineage acupuncture and traumatology.
