Dan Bedgood is a military veteran, former IBM executive auditor, and bodyworker who later became a cum laude graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, in San Diego, California. Subsequently, he established a private practice in Florida specializing in Geriatrics and Pediatrics. Dan was a member of the Association of Teachers of Chinese Medicine and the Florida Toyohara Association. He is a former faculty member of the Academy of Chinese Healing Arts and the Sarasota School of Natural Healing Arts. Dan has been a longtime faculty member and clinic supervisor at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture since 1989, where he also served as Dean of Students and Institutional Development Officer. Dan has an extensive history of community service at PIHMA, leading to a graduation award named in his honor for community service. Dan regularly gives public presentations and volunteers at events, demonstrating his skills and the practice of Oriental medicine. In addition to teaching and supervising clinic, he maintains a private practice.
